High Pressure Biogas Plant

The High Pressure Biogas Plant is a fibreglass (FRP) biogas system designed to store more gas and deliver it at a steady flow. A simple lever lets you regulate the gas flow easily, which makes it convenient for daily cooking and heating.

How it works

Organic waste and water are fed into the sealed FRP digester, where bacteria convert them into biogas. The plant is designed for improved gas storage, and the lever control lets you adjust how much gas flows to the stove, so you get a steadier flame when you need it.

Care and maintenance

• Feed a similar amount of waste every day; sudden large increases can make the digester acidic and stop gas production
• Mix waste with water before feeding
• Keep plastic, glass, metal, paper, chemicals and detergents out of the plant
• Add citrus peels and tamarind only in small quantities
• Use the gas in a well-ventilated kitchen and keep open flames away from the gas holder

Government support
