You have full control over your personal information. This page explains exactly what data you can delete, how to request deletion, what we retain by law, and how long the process takes.
At Emerald Enterprises, we believe you should always be in control of your personal data. If you have submitted an enquiry, placed an order, or created an account in our mobile app (available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store), you have the right to request deletion of your personal information at any time.
This Data Deletion Policy explains the different ways you can request deletion, what we can and cannot delete, and what to expect during the process.
Upon your request, we will delete the following categories of personal data we hold about you:
Some data cannot be deleted immediately due to legal, tax, or warranty obligations under Indian law. The following will be retained for the periods specified, after which it is securely destroyed or anonymised:
Wherever possible, retained data is stored in a restricted, access-controlled environment and is not used for marketing or any unrelated purpose.
If you have an account in our mobile app, you can delete your account and associated personal data directly from within the app:
Once confirmed, your account is immediately deactivated and your personal data is queued for deletion. The full process completes within 30 days (see Timeline section below).
If you do not use our mobile app, or prefer not to delete via the app, you can send a deletion request by email:
You will receive an acknowledgement within 48 hours and a confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Please include your full name, registered phone number, registered email address, and a copy of one government photo ID (Aadhaar / passport / voter ID / driving licence) for identity verification. We do not store the ID after verification.
To protect your data from unauthorised deletion requests, we verify your identity before processing any deletion request. Verification may include one or more of the following:
If we are unable to verify your identity, we may decline the request and notify you of the reason. You can resubmit with the required information.

After deletion is complete:
Deletion is irreversible. Please make sure you have downloaded any information you may need before submitting the request.
In limited cases, we may decline to delete some or all of your data. Reasons include:
Where we are unable to fulfil a request fully, we will explain what we can delete, what we must retain, and the legal basis for retention. We will delete everything we are legally permitted to delete.
Some of your data may have been shared with our authorised service providers (such as payment processors, analytics services, and logistics partners) under our Privacy Policy. When you request deletion:
If you have used third-party platforms to interact with us (such as Google Play Store reviews, social media comments, or third-party review sites), you may also need to contact those platforms directly to remove that content.
We do not charge any fee for deleting your data. Deletion requests are processed free of charge as part of our commitment to your privacy rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
However, for repeated, manifestly unfounded, or excessive requests, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee or refuse to act, as permitted by law.

We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

Deletion requests are free, processed within 30 days, and supported in-app, by email, by phone, and by post. We follow the requirements of the DPDP Act 2023, Google Play User Data Policy, and Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v).
